Cleaning Method
Our truck mounted pressure wash system works at 1700 PSI as opposed to a domestic pressure system that works at around 110 PSI.
This powerful machine will remove years of accumulated weeds, moss, dirt, and grime.
Our environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals used along with our mechanical pressure wash/vacuum machine will remove the majority of oil and diesel marks and will refresh your block paving restoring it's original colour and warmth.
All dirty water is returned to the on-board waste tank and is appropriately disposed.
Once dry (usually the following day), the area is re-sanded used kiln dried block paving sand.
Then we apply the first coat of  sealant. This usually dries within 2 hours after which a second coat is applied.
The drive or patio can be walked upon within 2 hours of the second coat, however vehicles should be kept off the area for 24 hours in order to allow the sealant to fully harden.
sealent will penetrate the pigment of the block paving to leave a natural matt finish as opposed to many sealants that merely coat the surface with an unnatural 'shiny' finish.
The sealant will last for approximately 5 years before any maintenance will be required by ourselves.
The maufacturer has advised us that after sealing, the block paving should be hosed and swept 3-4 times a year to maintain its appearance.
Should this advice not be followed they estimate an expectancy of around 1-2 years.
